MINOR FLOOD PEAK POSSIBLE AT LIVERPOOL LATE THURSDAY MORNING AND AT MILPERRA AROUND MID-DAY THURSDAY
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed over the Georges River catchment since Wednesday morning. Further moderate rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Thursday. This has caused river level rises along the Georges River where minor flood peak is possible at Liverpool late Thursday morning and at Milperra Bridge around mid-day Thursday.
Georges River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Georges River.
The Georges River at Liverpool is currently at 1.78 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Georges River at Liverpool may peak near the minor flood level (2.00 m) late Thursday morning.
The Georges River at Milperra is currently at 0.84 m AHD and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Georges River at Milperra may peak near the minor flood level (2.00 m AHD) around mid-day Thursday as riverine flows combine with the high tide.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
