MINOR FLOODING CONTINUES AT CAMOOLA PARK AND POSSIBLE AT LONGREACH OVER THE WEEKEND
Rainfall over recent days and weeks has caused river level rises across the upper Thomson River catchment. Minor flooding continues at Camoola Park and may develop at Longreach over the weekend as upstream floodwaters arrive.
Further rainfall is forecast over the coming days that may cause further rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.

Thomson River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the upper Thomson River at Camoola Park and is possible at Longreach.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is currently at 2.90 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park may remain above the minor flood level (2.00 m) for the next few days. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

The Thomson River at Longreach is currently at 1.95 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Thomson River at Longreach may reach around the minor flood level (3.30 m) over the weekend. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

Moderate Flood Warning For The Western River And Flood Warning For The Diamantina River

RENEWED MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WINTON FOR THE REMAINDER OF WEDNESDAY
Recent heavy rainfall has caused river level rises and flooding across the Diamantina River catchment and its upper tributaries. Renewed moderate flooding is possible along the Western River at Winton for the remainder of Wednesday as flows arrive from upstream.
Renewed minor flooding is occurring at Diamantina Lakes. An earlier flood peak is continuing to move downstream along the Diamantina River below Monkira.

Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes is at 3.46 m and rising, above the level of the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway (2.10 m).
Western River:
Renewed moderate flooding is possible along the Western River at Winton.
The Western River at Winton is currently at 1.85 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Western River at Winton may reach the moderate flood level (2.00 m) with renewed river level rises during the remainder of Wednesday.

Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
River level rises are occurring along the lower Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes, with a flood peak travelling downstream of Monkira.

MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT MARION DOWNS FROM LATER THIS WEEK
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BEDOURIE FROM TUESDAY EVENING
Recent rainfall has caused river level rises and minor to moderate flooding along the Georgina River to Marion Downs.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Eyre Creek at Glengyle and is possible at Bedourie from overnight Tuesday. Further rises are possible as the floodwaters flow downstream.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

Georgina River to Marion Downs:
Minor to moderate flooding is occurring along the Georgina River to Marion Downs.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs is currently at 2.40 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs is expected to exceed the minor flood level (3.00 m) in the next few days, with further rises to the moderate flood level (4.00 m) possible over the weekend.

Eyre Creek:
Minor flooding is occurring along Eyre Creek and further rises are possible as floodwaters from upstream arrive.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is currently at 3.45 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie may exceed the minor flood level (3.50 m) Tuesday evening. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

No observations available at the Eyre Creek at Glengyle. However it is estimated that minor flooding is occurring.
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle may remain around the minor flood level (2.00 m) over the next few days. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
