MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TAROOM EARLY MONDAY MORNING
Moderate rainfall over the past few days has resulted in river rises along the Upper Dawson River and its tributaries, with minor flooding possible at Taroom from early Monday morning.

Dawson River to Theodore:
Minor flooding is possible along the Dawson River at Taroom
The Dawson River at Taroom is currently at 4.36 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Dawson River at Taroom may exceed the minor flood level (4.50 m) early Monday morning. The river level may reach around 4.70 metres 08:00 am Monday, with minor flooding.

Flood Safety Advice:
- Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
- Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
- Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
- Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
