MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TAEMAS OVERNIGHT FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY
MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT ST ANNS AND POSSIBLE AT BURDEKIN FALLS DAM, DALBEG, CLARE AND INKERMAN BRIDGE (BURDEKIN BRIDGE) FROM OVERNIGHT FRIDAY AND INTO THE WEEKEND
Moderate to heavy rainfall during last few days has caused river level rises along the Cape, Belyando, Suttor and Lower Burdekin Rivers.
Minor flooding is occurring at Taemas, with major flooding possible overnight Friday into Saturday. Minor flooding is likely at St Anns from overnight Friday into Saturday. Minor flooding is possible at Clare from overnight Friday and at Burdekin Falls Dam, Dalbeg and Inkerman Bridge (Burdekin Bridge) from Saturday.
Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment over the next few days, which may cause additional river level rises across the Burdekin River catchment. The situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is likely at St Anns.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 3.62 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Suttor River at St Anns is likely to exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) overnight Friday into Saturday. Further rises are possible.
Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Major flooding is possible at Taemas.
The Cape River at Taemas is currently at 5.96 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Cape River at Taemas may exceed the moderate flood level (7.00 m) Friday evening. The river may reach around the major flood level (8.00 m) overnight Friday into Saturday.
Burdekin River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is possible at Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Burdekin Dam is currently at 2.10 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin Dam may exceed the minor flood level (3.00 m) from Saturday afternoon.
Burdekin River downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is possible downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Burdekin River at Dalbeg is currently at 8.23 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin River at Dalbeg may exceed the minor flood level (10.00 m) from early Saturday morning.
The Burdekin River at Clare is currently at 8.20 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin River at Clare may exceed the minor flood level (9.00 m) overnight Friday into Saturday.
The Burdekin River at Inkerman Bridge (Burdekin Bridge) is currently at 6.05 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin River at Inkerman Bridge (Burdekin Bridge) may exceed the minor flood level (7.00 m) from Saturday afternoon.

MINOR FLOODING MAY CONTINUE AT BARALABA FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS
Moderate to heavy rainfall since Thursday morning has caused river level rises across Connors and Isaac Rivers and tributaries. Minor flooding is likely at Yatton from overnight Friday and moderate flooding is possible during Saturday.
Floodwaters are moving into the Dawson River downstream of Theodore, where minor flooding is continuing at Baralaba.
Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment during the next few days, which may lead to additional river level rises. This warning will be updated as required.
Dawson River downstream of Theodore:
Minor flooding is expected to be occurring along the Dawson River downstream of Theodore.
No current observations are available for the Dawson River at Baralaba. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be around the minor flood level (4.00 m) and steady.
The Dawson River at Baralaba may remain around the minor flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days.
Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Connors River at Pink Lagoon. Moderate flooding possible along the Isaac River at Yatton.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 4.90 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Isaac River at Yatton is likely to exceed the minor flood level (7.50 m) overnight Friday into Saturday. The river may reach around the moderate flood level (9.50 m) around midday Saturday. Further rises are possible.

MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT MIRANI
Rainfall during Thursday afternoon and into Friday morning has resulted in river level rises along the Pioneer River and Cattle Creek. Along the Pioneer River at Mirani, river levels peaked late Thursday evening and minor flooding is no longer expected.
Pioneer River:
Minor flooding is easing along Cattle Creek at Gargett and along the Pioneer River at Mirani Township.
No observations are currently available for the Pioneer River at Mirani. River levels are estimated to be below the minor flood level and falling based on nearby gauges.
The Pioneer River at Mirani is likely to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m).

Moderate to heavy rainfall overnight Thursday into Friday resulted in a minor flood peak along the Don River at Bowen Pump Station, river levels are now below the minor flood level and falling. Renewed minor flooding is possible from Friday afternoon with forecast rainfall.

Renewed minor flooding is possible along the Don River.
The Don River at Bowen Pump Station peaked at 3.33 m around 05:00 am Friday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 2.30 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Don River at Bowen Pump Station may exceed the minor flood level (2.50 m) from Friday afternoon. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.
