Final Flood Warning For The Avon River

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING ALONG THE AVON RIVER
River levels across the Avon River catchment are expected to continue easing over the next few days.
No further significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Avon River:
Flooding is no occurring along the Avon River.
The Avon River at Stratford peaked at 5.56 m around 6:15 pm Thursday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 3.90 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Avon River at Stratford is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.50 m).
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
