Final Flood Warning For The Tambo River

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING ALONG THE TAMBO RIVER
River levels across the Tambo River catchment are expected to continue easing over the next few days.
No further significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Tambo River:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Tambo River.
The Tambo River at Ramrod Creek (Downstream) peaked at 5.13 m around 10:30 am Thursday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 3.62 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Tambo River at Ramrod Creek (Downstream) is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.10 m).
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
