Moderate Flood Warning For The Bulloo River

 MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT THARGOMINDAH
 Floodwater from recent rainfall is moving toward Thargomindah, where moderate flooding is occurring. The main flood peak is currently approaching the Autumnvale area.  
 Further showers and storms are forecast over the next few days, which may result in further river level rises along the Bulloo River.

Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie:
Moderate flooding is occurring at Autumnvale and Thargomindah.
The Bulloo River at Thargomindah is currently at 4.51 m and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Bulloo River at Thargomindah may reach around 4.75 m during Friday, with moderate flooding. Further rises are possible with forecast rain. 

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
 Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
 Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
 Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
