Final Flood Warning For The Tully River

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT EURAMO
Heavy rainfall earlier this week caused a peak just below the minor flood level along the Tully River at Euramo late Wednesday evening.
Further showers are forecast during Thursday and Friday but significant rainfall totals are not expected. The river level at Euramo is expected to continue easing over the next few days.
Tully River:
Elevated river levels are easing along the Tully River.
The Tully River at Euramo peaked at 5.85 m around 11:00 pm Wednesday, just below the minor flood level. The river is currently at 5.30 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Tully River at Euramo is expected to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m).
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
