    Bunyip Catchment:
    Reissue
     MINOR FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR ON BUNYIP RIVER AT CORA LYNN FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
     The Bunyip River catchment has recorded rainfall averaging about 26 mm since 09:00 AM Saturday 08 November 2025. The Western Port catchment has recorded rainfall averaging about 23 mm for the same period. Rainfall totals of 1-5 mm is forecast for the catchment Sunday 09 November 2025.
     Water levels of the Bunyip River at various locations are rising in response to the rain.
     Tarago River:
     The level of Tarago Reservoir is currently at 156.93 metres, below the spillway level of 157.92 metres.
     Bunyip River downstream of Iona:
     The level of the Bunyip River at Cora Lynn is currently at 2.85 metres and rising. It is expected to peak around the Minor Flood Level (3.10 metres) this afternoon.
     Minor flooding in the Bunyip River catchment is expected to affect/affecting low-lying areas adjacent to the waterway. The ford at Cora Lynn is now closed to traffic until further notice.
     The river heights at 09:07 AM Sunday 09 November 2025 were:

     Tarago Reservoir: 156.95 metres, rising
     Tarago River at Neerim South: 1.01 metres, steady
     Tarago River at Drouin West: 0.68 metres, steady
     Sites in Bunyip River catchment
     Bunyip River at Headworks: 0.43 metres, falling
     Bunyip River at Tonimbuk: 1.68 metres, rising
     Bunyip River at Longwarry North: 1.16 metres, rising
     Bunyip River at Iona: 1.48 metres, steady
     Bunyip River at Cora Lynn: 2.84 metres, rising
     Yallock Outfall Drain at Cora Lynn: 0.14 metres, steady
     Bunyip River at Koo Wee Rup: 1.13 metres, steady
     The next warning will be issued by 10AM on Monday 10 November 2025.

    Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
     Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
     Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
