MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT EURAMO FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON
Heavy rainfall recorded overnight Sunday has resulted in river level rises across the Tully River catchment. Minor flooding is possible at Euramo from Monday afternoon.
Further showers and storms are forecast over the next few days, which may lead to further river level rises and flooding across the catchment. This warning will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for adjoining catchments.
Tully River:
Minor flooding is possible along the Tully River at Euramo from Monday afternoon.
The Tully River at Euramo is currently at 3.75 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Tully River at Euramo may exceed the minor flood level (6.00 m) from Monday afternoon.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
