Severe thunderstorm has moved out of the northern area of Canberra

cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning - canberra for the following areas:
Canberra
Severe thunderstorms are no longer affecting Canberra and Queanbeyan. This warning is now cancelled.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
 * Keep clear of fallen power lines.
 * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
 * Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
 * Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.

 Stay updated on the Hazards Near Me NSW app or the ACT ESA website (https://esa.gov.au).
A more general severe thunderstorm warning remains current for parts of the Illawarra, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands and South West Slopes districts.
