Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Midlands, East Coast, Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and westerly winds are expected during Friday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the Midlands, East Coast, Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

Initial Minor Flood Warning For The Huon River
Issued at 03:09 PM AEDT on Thursday 13 November 2025
Flood Warning Number: 1

MINOR FLOODING IS POSSIBLE AT TAHUNE BRIDGE FROM LATE THURSDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate rainfall across the Huon River catchment since Tuesday evening has caused river level rises along the Huon River and its tributaries, which has the potential to result in minor flooding along the Huon River at Tahune Bridge from late Thursday afternoon.

Huon River above Tahune:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Huon River at Harrisons Opening.
Huon River - Tahune to Judbury:
Minor flooding is possible along the Huon River at Tahune Bridge.
The Huon River at Tahune Bridge is currently at 3.74 m AHD and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Huon River at Tahune Bridge may peak around the minor flood level (4.00 m AHD) late Thursday afternoon.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
