MINOR FLOODING CONTINUES AT CAMOOLA PARK AND POSSIBLE AT LONGREACH OVER THE WEEKEND
Rainfall over recent days and weeks has caused river level rises across the upper Thomson River catchment. Minor flooding continues at Camoola Park and may develop at Longreach over the weekend as upstream floodwaters arrive.
Moderate to heavy rainfall is possible from this weekend, which may cause renewed river level rises from early next week. This situation is being closely monitored, and warnings will be updated as required.
Thomson River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the upper Thomson River at Camoola Park and is possible at Longreach.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is currently at 2.65 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park may remain above the minor flood level (2.00 m) for the next few days. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
The Thomson River at Longreach is currently at 2.07 m and rising slowly, below the minor flood level.
The Thomson River at Longreach may reach around the minor flood level (3.30 m) over the weekend. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT WINTON
Recent heavy rainfall has caused river level rises and flooding across the Diamantina River catchment and its upper tributaries. Minor flooding is occurring along the Western River at Winton.
Renewed minor flooding is occurring at Diamantina Lakes. An earlier flood peak is continuing to move downstream along the Diamantina River below Monkira.
Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes is at 3.66 m and rising, above the level of the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway (2.10 m).
Western River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Western River at Winton.
The Western River at Winton is currently at 1.85 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Western River at Winton is likely to remain above the minor flood level (1.50 m) for remainder of Thursday into Friday.
Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
River level rises are occurring along the lower Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes, with a flood peak travelling downstream of Monkira.

MAJOR FLOODING CONTINUES AT WALKERS BEND
MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT RICHMOND
Recent heavy rainfall has caused river and creek level rises and flooding across the Flinders and Cloncurry catchments. Multiple peaks are currently moving downstream, with some river level peaks observed just below the 2019 levels.
Along the Flinders River at Richmond river levels are estimated to be falling with moderate flooding. Downstream, inflows from multiple tributaries are causing major flooding at Walkers Bend, where river levels are slowly falling.
Moderate to heavy rainfall may redevelop from late this week, which may cause renewed river level rises during the weekend and into next week. This situation is being closely monitored, and warnings will be updated as required.
Flinders River to Richmond:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Flinders River to Richmond.
No observations are currently available for the Flinders River at Richmond Post Office. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is expected to be above the moderate flood level (6.00 m) and falling rapidly.
The Flinders River at Richmond Post Office may fall below the moderate flood level (6.00 m) during Thursday. With forecast rainfall renewed river level rises are possible in coming days.
Flinders River downstream of Richmond:
Major flooding is occurring along the Flinders River downstream of Richmond.
The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is currently at 15.65 m and falling, with major flooding.
The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is expected to remain above the major flood level (8.00 m) until at least early next week.

MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT TAEMAS AND POSSIBLE AT BURDEKIN DAM WEDNESDAY MORNING
RENEWED RISES AND MINOR FLOODING ARE POSSIBLE AT SELLHEIM LATER THIS WEEK
Moderate to heavy rainfall over the weekend has caused river level rises across the upper Burdekin River and its tributaries.
A moderate peak was observed Sunday night along the Cape River at Pentland. Further downstream at Taemas, minor flooding is likely to develop from Wednesday morning, with further rises possible as inflows arrive from multiple tributaries.
Along the upper Burdekin River, Sellheim peaked just below the minor flood level overnight Monday. Renewed rises and minor flooding are possible at Sellheim from later this week as upstream flows arrive. Further downstream, minor flooding is possible at Burdekin Dam from Wednesday morning.
Further showers and storms are forecast across the catchment through to midweek. This situation is being closely monitored, and warnings will be updated as necessary.
A Flood Watch is current for adjoining catchments.
Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is likely along the Cape River at Taemas.
The Cape River at Taemas is currently at 3.86 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Cape River at Taemas is likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) Wednesday morning. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
Burdekin River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Renewed rises and minor flooding are possible along the upper Burdekin River at Sellheim. Minor flooding is possible at Burdekin Dam.
The Burdekin River at Sellheim is currently at 9.15 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
Renewed rises and minor flooding (12.00 m) are possible along the Burdekin River at Sellheim later this week as upstream flows arrive.
The Burdekin Dam is currently at 2.30 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin Dam may reach around the minor flood level (3.00 m) Wednesday morning.
