Rainfall has eased in southern Queensland.

Weather Situation
a trough through central queensland has been driving slow-moving shower and thunderstorm activity, combined with a very humid airmass.
cancellation of severe weather warning for the following areas:
Central Highlands and Coalfields, Capricornia, Wide Bay and Burnett, Maranoa and Warrego and Darling Downs and Granite Belt
This warning is now cancelled.
Rainfall has eased below warning thresholds this morning south of Woorabinda.
A separate Severe Thunderstorm Warning is current at time of issue for storm activity north of Moranbah, please check https://www.bom.gov.au/weather-and-climate/warnings-and-alerts for the latest information.
49 mm was recorded at Springdale in 1 hour to 11:26 pm.
85 mm was recorded at Mingo Creek in the 3 hours to 8:29 pm.
81 mm was recorded at Windamere in the 3 hours to 8:18 pm.
95 mm was recorded at Didcott in the 3 hours to 7:42 pm.
90 mm was recorded at Old Range Rd (near Dallarnil) in 3 hours to 7:42 pm.
102 mm was recorded at Mt Goonaneman in the 3 hours to 7:33 pm.

Emergency services advise people to:
* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.
* For storm help, call the SES on 132 500 or download the free SES Assistance QLD app.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.

Minor Flood Warning For Cooper Creek

RENEWED MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WINDORAH OVER THE WEEKEND
Flood levels along Cooper Creek at Windorah are estimated to have fallen below the minor flood level, with renewed rises and minor flooding possible over the weekend as a second smaller flood peak in the lower Barcoo River arrives.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast to continue in the catchment over the weekend and into next week, with isolated moderate to heavy rainfall possible, which may cause further renewed river level rises.
A Flood Watch is current for parts of South East Queensland and Wide Bay and Burnett and adjacent inland catchments.

Cooper Creek:
Renewed minor flooding is possible along the Cooper Creek.
No observations are currently available for the Cooper Creek at Windorah. Based on upstream gauges, it is estimated that the creek level has fallen below the minor flood level (3.00 m).
Renewed creek level rises to around the minor flood level (3.00 m) are possible along the Cooper Creek at Windorah over the weekend, as a smaller second flood peak in the lower Barcoo river arrives.

Final Flood Warning For The Bulloo River

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT THARGOMINDAH
Heavy rainfall from late last week has resulted in river level rises across the catchment. The main flood peak has passed through Autumnvale and is approaching Thargomindah along the lower Bulloo River. However, the river level is expected to peak below the minor flood level at Thargomindah.

Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie:
No further flooding is expected along the Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie.
No observations are currently available for the Bulloo River at Thargomindah. Based on upstream gauges, it is expected that the river level is below the minor flood level (4.00 m) and rising.
The Bulloo River at Thargomindah is expected to peak below the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Thursday.
