MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WANAARING DURING TUESDAY
Along the Paroo River, the latest flood peak has passed Caiwarro and is approaching Hungerford in Queensland, which is likely to cause renewed river level rises at Willara Crossing. River levels at Wanaaring are also elevated, where minor flooding is possible during Tuesday.
A minor flood warning is current for the Paroo River in Queensland.

Paroo River (NSW):
Minor flooding is occurring at Willara Crossing, and may develop at Wanaaring from Tuesday.

The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently at 1.26 m and steady, above the minor flood level (0.70 m). Renewed river level rises are expected at Willara Crossing.
The Paroo River at Willara Crossing may peak near 1.60 m around Friday, with minor flooding.

The Paroo River at Wanaaring was at 2.28 m around 10:00 am Monday, below the minor flood level.
The Paroo River at Wanaaring may reach around the minor flood level (2.40 m) during Tuesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Major Flood Warning For The Thomson And Barcoo Rivers And Cooper Creek

MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WINDORAH FROM OVERNIGHT TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY
MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT LONGREACH AND STONEHENGE
A renewed moderate flood peak was observed early Sunday morning at Longreach. Further downstream at Stonehenge, river levels are slowly rising above the moderate flood level. River levels are expected to remain above the moderate flood level for the next few days, with further rises possible.
Along the Barcoo River, the main peak is approaching Retreat, where minor flooding is occurring and is expected to continue for the next few days.
Along the Cooper Creek, renewed moderate flooding is occurring at Windorah (Main Channel) and major flooding is possible from overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Further rises are likely as upstream flows arrive from the Thomson and Barcoo Rivers.
Peak forecasts will be refined as upstream peaks are observed.
In the lower Cooper Creek catchment, moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in the last few days which has caused minor to moderate flooding along the lower Cooper Creek and its tributaries.

Thomson River:
Minor to moderate flooding is occurring along the Thomson River and its tributaries.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is currently at 3.85 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is expected to remain above the minor flood level (2.00 m) for the next few days. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

The Thomson River at Longreach is currently at 4.76 m and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Thomson River at Longreach is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.30 m) for the next few days.

No observations are currently available for the Thomson River at Stonehenge. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be above the moderate flood level (3.00 m) and rising.

Cooper Creek:
Major flooding is possible along the Cooper Creek at Windorah.

The Cooper Creek at Windorah may exceed the major flood level (5.00 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT THARGOMINDAH
Following a minor peak on Saturday, river levels fell below the minor flood level along the Bulloo River at Thargomindah during Monday night.
Further showers are forecast during the next few days, but are not expected to cause further flooding.

Flooding is no longer occurring along the Bulloo River at Thargomindah.
The Bulloo River at Thargomindah is currently at 3.43 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
