MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE ALONG THE BARCOO RIVER AT RETREAT FROM THURSDAY
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE ALONG THE COOPER CREEK AT WINDORAH FROM THURSDAY
Flooding is no longer occurring along the lower reaches of the Thomson River, whilst floodwaters along the lower reaches of the Barcoo River are approaching Retreat. Minor flooding is possible at Windorah this week.
A minor to moderate flood peak along the lower Barcoo River has passed through Isisford and Wahroongha. As these floodwaters move downstream, moderate flooding is possible at Retreat from Thursday.
No significant rainfall has been observed across the Cooper Creek basin for the last several days. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Barcoo River downstream of Isisford:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Barcoo River downstream of Isisford. Minor flooding is continuing at Glenlock.
The Barcoo River at Retreat is currently at 3.37 metres and steady, above the minor flood level (2.14 m).
The Barcoo River at Retreat may reach the moderate flood level (4.50 m) during Thursday.
Cooper Creek:
Minor flooding may occur along the Cooper Creek.
The Cooper Ck at Windorah (Main Channel) TM is currently at 2.01 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (3.0 m).
The Cooper Ck at Windorah (Main Channel) TM may reach the minor flood level (3.00 m) from from Thursday as floodwaters arrive from the Barcoo River.

MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT ROCKY AND MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT CUNNAMULLA BRIDGE
No significant rainfall has been observed in the past few days. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Major flooding has eased at Rocky, where moderate flooding is now occurring. Moderate flooding has eased at Cunnamulla Bridge, where minor flooding is now occurring.
The flood peak along the Warrego River will travel into New South Wales over the next few days. A moderate flood warning is current for the New South Wales section of the Warrego River.
Warrego River downstream of Charleville:
Minor to moderate flooding is occurring along the Warrego River downstream of Charleville between Cunnamulla Bridge and Rocky.
The Warrego River at Cunnamulla Bridge is currently at 6.89 metres and falling, above the minor flood level.
The Warrego River at Cunnamulla Bridge is likely to remain above the minor flood level (6.00 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
The Warrego River at Rocky is currently at 4.65 metres and falling, above the moderate flood level (4.00 metres).

MINOR FLOODING EASING AT NINDIGULLY
BELOW MINOR PEAK MAY OCCUR AT THALLON BRIDGE DURING THURSDAY
Two flood peaks are travelling along the Moonie River following rainfall during the first week of April. The first peak has passed Fenton and is moving downstream into New South Wales. The second peak is passing through Nindigully, where minor flooding is beginning to ease.
No significant rainfall has been observed over the last week. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Moonie River downstream of Flinton:
Minor flooding is continuing along the Moonie River downstream of Flinton.
The Moonie River at Nindigully peaked at 2.70 metres around 1:00 am Wednesday and is currently at 2.65 metres and falling, above the minor flood level (2.20 m).
The Moonie River at Nindigully is likely to remain above the minor flood level (2.20 m) for the next few days.
The Moonie River at Thallon Bridge is currently at 3.77 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (4.00 m).
The Moonie River at Thallon Bridge may peak near 3.90 metres during Thursday, below the minor flood level (4.00 m).

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT DIRRANBANDI AND POSSIBLE AT HEBEL FROM WEDNESDAY
No significant rainfall has been recorded in the Balonne and Bokhara River catchments in the 24 hours to 9:00 am Wednesday and no significant rainfall is expected for the next few days.
Balonne River to Surat:
Minor flooding has eased along the Balonne River at Surat.
There are no current observations along the Balonne River at Surat, however, based on the nearby automatic gauge, it is expected that the river level at Surat is below the minor flood level (5.00 m) and falling.
The Balonne River at Surat is likely to remain below the minor flood level (5.00 m).
Balonne River downstream of Surat to Beardmore Dam:
River levels are elevated along the Balonne River downstream of Surat to Beardmore Dam. Minor flooding is slowly easing at Weribone.
Lower Balonne and Bokhara Rivers, Balonne River Minor:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Balonne River Minor and may occur along the Bokhara River. Moderate flooding is occurring at Whyenbah.
There are no current observations at the St George manual gauge, however, based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is currently estimated to be below the minor flood level (6.00 m) and falling slowly.
The Balonne River at St George is expected to remain below the minor flood level.
The Balonne River Minor at Dirranbandi is currently at 4.21 metres and falling,
The Balonne River Minor at Dirranbandi is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Wednesday.
The Bokhara River at Hebel is currently at 0.94 metres and rising slowly, below the minor flood level (1.00 m).
The Bokhara River at Hebel may exceed the minor flood level (1.00 m) during Wednesday. River level rises are expected in coming days as upstream floodwaters arrive but likely to stay below the moderate flood level (1.50 m).

RIVER LEVELS HAVE EASED BELOW MINOR ALONG THE DAWSON RIVER DOWNSTREAM OF THEODORE
Floodwaters continue to slowly ease along the lower reaches of the Dawson River, where the flood peak is currently downstream of Baralaba in the Boolburra area.
There remains a chance of showers for the next few days, however no significant rainfall is forecast.
Dawson River downstream of Theodore:
No further flooding is expected in the Dawson River downstream of Theodore.
No current river level observations are available for Moura. However based on nearby observations the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level (6.00 metres) and falling.
The Dawson River at Moura is expected to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m) during the next few days.
No current river level observations are available for Baralaba. However based on the nearby observations the river level is estimated to be around 3.50 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (4.00 metres).
