MODERATE FLOODING CONTINUING ALONG THE EYRE CREEK AT GLENGYLE
Moderate flooding continues along the Eyre Creek at Glengyle, with flooding expected to have eased below the minor flood level at Bedourie Wednesday morning.
No significant rainfall has been recorded since early April. Showers and thunderstorms are possible across the Eyre Creek catchment from Thursday, which is not expected to cause renewed flooding. This will continue to be monitored.
Eyre Creek:
Moderate flooding continues along the Eyre Creek at Glengyle.
The creek level along the Eyre Creek at Bedourie was 3.50 metres and falling at 6.30 am Wednesday. It is expected that the creek level at Bedourie is now below the minor flood level (3.50 m) and falling.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.50 m).
There are no recent observations along the Eyre Creek at Glengyle, however, is it likely that the creek level is around the moderate flood level (3.00 m) and steady.
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is likely to remain around the moderate flood level (3.00 m) for the next few days.
