Cancellation Of Detailed Severe Thunderstorm Warning

for Sydney area.

cancellation of detailed severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas:
Sydney
Severe thunderstorms are no longer affecting Sydney Newcastle Wollongong or surrounding areas. This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. Please check https://www.bom.gov.au/weather-and-climate/warnings-and-alerts/.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* For emergency help in floods and storms, ring the SES (NSW and ACT) on 132 500.
A more general severe thunderstorm warning remains current for parts of the Northern Rivers, Northern Tablelands and Mid North Coast districts.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.

Warning to Sheep Graziers

for Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Riverina, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts

Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Riverina, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Saturday and Sunday. Areas likely to be affected include the Snowy Mountains forecast district and parts of the Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Riverina and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
