Warning to Sheep Graziers

for Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, Central West Slopes & Plains, South West Slopes, Riverina, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts

Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, Central West Slopes & Plains, South West Slopes, Riverina, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Sunday. Areas likely to be affected include the Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes and Snowy Mountains forecast districts and parts of the Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Central West Slopes & Plains, Riverina and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

The next warning will be issued by 11:00 pm EST Saturday.

Minor Flood Warning For The Lachlan River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BOOLIGAL FROM EARLY NEXT WEEK
River levels are slowing rising along the Lachlan River at Booligal Weir, where minor flooding may occur from early next week.

Lower Lachlan River downstream of Euabalong to Booligal Weir:
Minor flooding may occur along the Lower Lachlan River at Booligal Weir.
The Lachlan River at Booligal Weir is currently at 2.35 metres and slowly rising, just below the minor flood level (2.40 m).
The Lachlan River at Booligal Weir may reach the minor flood level (2.40 m) from early next week, as upstream peaks continue to arrive.

Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}

Minor Flood Warning For The Belubula River

RENEWED MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CANOWINDRA SATURDAY AFTERNOON
A moderate flood peak was recorded along the Belubula River at Canowindra late Friday evening. The river level has fallen below the minor flood level. However, further rainfall is forecast during Saturday which may result in renewed minor flooding at Canowindra from Saturday afternoon.

Belubula River:
Minor flooding is possible along the Belubula River.
The Belubula River at Canowindra Upstream is currently at 2.54 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (2.60 m).
Renewed rises are possible. The river level may reach the minor flood level (2.60 m) Saturday afternoon, with forecast rainfall. Further rises are possible.
