MINOR FLOODING CONTINUES AT GOANGRA
The main flood peak along the Namoi River is now downstream of Goangra, where the river level peaked on Friday 5 September and is currently falling slowly with minor flooding.

Namoi River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Namoi River at Goangra.
The Namoi River at Goangra peaked at 6.25 m Friday 5 September, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 6.06 m and falling slowly, with minor flooding.
The Namoi River at Goangra may remain above the minor flood level (5.50 m) until later this week.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
