The risk of damaging wind gusts has now eased over NSW.
Weather Situation
Fresh and gusty south to southwesterly winds are still possible about eastern parts of the state in the wake of the frontal system that is moving into the Tasman Sea, but winds are no longer expected to be damaging.

98 km/h wind gust was recorded at Nowra at 1:16 pm.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't walk, ride or drive through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
* Stay vigilant and monitor conditions. Note that the landscape may have changed following bushfires.
