MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE IN THE FLOOD WATCH AREA FROM LATE WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY

Catchments likely to be affected include:
Orara River
Coffs Coast
Bellinger and Kalang Rivers
Nambucca River
Macleay River
Hastings River
Peel River
Namoi River

Flood warnings are current for the Lower Namoi River and Barwon River.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WALGETT FROM WEDNESDAY
A flood peak along the Namoi River is currently approaching Goangra, and will reach the Barwon River at Walgett over the next few days. This may cause minor flooding at Walgett from Wednesday.
A Moderate Flood Warning is current for the Namoi River at Goangra.

Barwon River downstream of Collarenebri to Walgett:
Minor flooding possible at Walgett.
The Barwon River at Walgett is currently at 8.47 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Barwon River at Walgett may exceed the minor flood level (10.50 m) during Wednesday 20 August. The river may peak near 10.80 m during Thursday 21 August, with minor flooding.
