for Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Tablelands Forecast Districts.

Storms have eased across the state

cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas:
Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Tablelands
This warning is now cancelled.
94MM WAS RECORDED AT YALWAL (WEST OF NOWRA) IN THE 1 HOUR TO 5:40PM.
52mm was recorded at Nerriga in the 2 hours to 6:40pm.
39mm was recorded at Big Hill, Longview (NE of Goulburn) in the 2 hour to 4:17pm.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
For emergency help in flood and storms, ring the SES on 132 500.
