Weather Situation
Winds have eased as a cold front clears the state.
cancellation of severe weather warning for the following areas:
East Gippsland, North East and West and South Gippsland

133 KM/H WIND GUST WAS RECORDED AT MOUNT HOTHAM AT 11:22 PM.
109 km/h wind gust was recorded at Mount Hotham Airport at 2:27 am.
91 km/h wind gust was recorded at Falls Creek Airport at 12:06 am
111 km/h wind gust was recorded at Mount Buller Airport at 9:46 pm.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Stay away from fallen powerlines - always assume they are live.
* Stay safe by avoiding dangerous hazards, such as floodwater, mud, debris, damaged roads and fallen trees.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
No further warnings will be issued for this event.
