Minor Flood Warning For The North Esk River

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT CORRA LINN
Moderate rainfall observed since Sunday afternoon has caused river level rises across the North Esk catchment. Renewed rises are occurring at Corra Linn, where minor flooding continues.
Rainfall is forecast to continue easing across the catchment during the remainder of Monday and into Tuesday.
Upper North Esk River:
River levels are elevated along the upper North Esk River.
Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 2.90 m and rising slowly, with minor flooding.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn may peak near 3.30 m overnight Monday into Tuesday, with minor flooding.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
