MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CORRA LINN FROM TUESDAY EVENING WITH FORECAST RAIN
Rainfall is forecast across the North Esk catchment during Tuesday into Wednesday. This may result in creek and river level rises, with minor flooding possible at Corra Linn from Tuesday evening.
Upper North Esk River:
River level rises are expected along the Upper North Esk River from Tuesday afternoon.
Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
Minor flooding is possible along the Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 1.92 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn may reach around the minor flood level (2.70 m) from Tuesday evening, with forecast rainfall.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
