Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Wednesday evening. Areas likely to be affected include the Midlands, North West Coast, East Coast, South East and Upper Derwent Valley forecast districts. Moderate to locally heavy rainfall is forecast across the South Esk catchment from Wednesday into Thursday. The catchment is wet following recent rainfall and river level rises are expected.
Minor flooding is possible along the St Pauls River at Lewis Hill from Wednesday evening.
Minor flooding is possible along the South Esk River at Fingal and Llewellyn from Thursday morning.
