Minor Flood Warning For The South Esk River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT FINGAL LATE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
Rainfall has been observed across the South Esk catchment since Monday afternoon, with further rainfall forecast during Tuesday.
River level rises are likely across the Upper South Esk River catchment from overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Minor flooding may develop along the South Esk River at Fingal, with a minor peak possible from late Wednesday afternoon.

South Esk River above Fingal:
River level rises are likely along the South Esk River above Fingal from overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.
South Esk River - Fingal to Llewellyn:
Minor flooding may occur along the South Esk River at Fingal.
The South Esk River at Fingal is currently at 1.93 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (4.00 m).
The South Esk River at Fingal may peak near the minor flood level (4.00 m) late Wednesday afternoon.

Nile River:
River level rises are occurring along the Nile River.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CORRA LINN TUESDAY EVENING
Rainfall has been observed in the North Esk catchment since Monday afternoon, with further rainfall forecast during Tuesday.
River level rises are likely across the North Esk River catchment from Tuesday morning. River levels may peak around the minor flood level at Corra Linn from Tuesday evening.

Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
Minor flooding may occur along the Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 1.68 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (2.70 m).
The North Esk River at Corra Linn may peak around the minor flood level (2.70 m) Tuesday evening.
