MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT JAMBIN AND BARALABA
MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT THEODORE WEIR AND YATTON AND POSSIBLE AT TAROOM AND MOURA
Moderate to locally intense rainfall has been observed across parts of the Fitzroy River catchment over the last few days. This has resulted in rapid river and creek level rises particularly across parts of the Dawson, Connors and Isaac, Comet and Nogoa River catchments.
Major flooding is occurring along the Callide Creek. Major flooding is occurring along the Dawson River at Baralaba and moderate flooding is occurring along the Dawson River at Theodore Weir. Moderate flooding is possible at Taroom overnight Tuesday into Wednesday and Moura from Wednesday afternoon. Moderate flooding is occurring along the Isaac River, and elevated river levels are occurring across the Nogoa and Comet River catchments. Elevated river levels are likely along the Mackenzie River.
Dawson River to Theodore:
Moderate flooding occurring at Theodore Weir, Windamere and Chilgerrie Hill. Moderate flooding is possible at Taroom. Minor flooding occurring at Tarana Crossing and Isla-Delusion Xing.
The Dawson River at Taroom is currently at 5.15 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Dawson River at Taroom may exceed the moderate flood level (6.00 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
The Dawson River at Theodore Weir is currently at 11.56 m and falling, with moderate flooding.
The Dawson River at Theodore Weir is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (11.00 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.
Dawson River downstream of Theodore:
Major flooding is occurring at Baralaba, Karamea and Beckers. Moderate flooding is occurring at Redcliffe.
No observations are currently available for the Dawson River at Moura. Based on the nearby automatic gauge the river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level (6.00 m) and rising.
The Dawson River at Moura may exceed the moderate flood level (11.00 m) Wednesday afternoon. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
No observations are currently available for the Dawson River at Baralaba. However, based on the nearby gauge the river level at Baralaba is expected to be above the major flood level (9.00 m) and rising.
The Dawson River at Baralaba may reach around 13.00 m Tuesday evening from local runoff, with major flooding. Further rises are likely later in the week as flows from the upper Dawson River arrive.
Don and Dee Rivers:
Major flooding is occurring at Jambin.
No observations are currently available for the Kroombit Creek at Biloela, however the river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level and falling.
The Kroombit Creek at Biloela may remain above the minor flood level (2.20 m) until Tuesday evening.
The Callide Creek at Jambin is currently at 5.45 m and steady, with major flooding.
The Callide Creek at Jambin may peak near 5.70 m Tuesday evening, with major flooding.
Comet River:
River level rises are occurring across the Comet River catchment. Major flooding is occurring at Comet Weir.
Nogoa River:
River level rises are occurring across the Nogoa River catchment. Major flooding is occurring at Valeria and Gregory Highway.
Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Moderate flooding occurring at Yatton.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 10.00 m and rising, with moderate flooding.
The Isaac River at Yatton is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (9.50 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. The river may peak above the moderate flood level (9.50 m) early Wednesday morning.

NEAR MAJOR FLOOD PEAK POSSIBLE AT AUGATHELLA FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON
Heavy rainfall has been recorded over the upper Warrego River catchment over the weekend. River levels upstream of Augathella have risen rapidly in response to this rainfall.
Moderate flooding is occurring at Augathella, with river levels likely to peak around the major flood level from Tuesday afternoon.
This flood peak is expected to move towards Charleville over the next few days. The situation is being monitored and forecasts for Charleville will be provided as upstream peaks are observed.

Major flooding is possible at Augathella.
The Warrego River at Augathella is currently at 5.75 m and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Warrego River at Augathella may peak near the major flood level (6.00 m) from Tuesday afternoon.

MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WARKON FROM OVERNIGHT TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY AND AT SURAT FROM LATE THURSDAY
NO FURTHER FLOODING EXPECTED ALONG BUNGIL CREEK AT ROMA
Recent heavy rainfall has caused river level rises across the upper Balonne River catchment. Major flooding is possible along the Balonne River at Warkon from overnight Tuesday into Wednesday and at Surat from late Thursday, with minor flooding possible at Warroo from overnight Thursday into Friday. Significant creek level rises and flooding are also occurring along Dogwood Creek. At Roma, creek levels are now below the minor flood level with no further flooding expected along Bungil Creek.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
A Flood Watch remains current for much of Queensland.
Dogwood Creek:
Significant river level rises are occurring along Dogwood Creek, with near-moderate and moderate peaks observed overnight Monday into Tuesday at Miles and Gilweir respectively. Major flooding is still rising at Pine Hill Crossing.
Balonne River to Surat:
Major flooding is possible along the Balonne River to Surat.
No observations are currently available for the Balonne River at Warkon. The river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level (7.00 m) and rising.
The Balonne River at Warkon may exceed the moderate flood level (8.00 m) during the remainder of Tuesday. The river may exceed the major flood level (9.00 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Peak forecasts will be provided as upstream peaks are observed.
No observations are currently available for the Balonne River at Surat. Based on the river level at the nearby automatic station, the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level and rising.

The Bungil Creek at Roma peaked at 5.25 m around 04:00 pm Monday 9 March, near the moderate flood level (5.45 m). The creek is currently at 4.84 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Bungil Creek at Roma will continue easing and remain below the minor flood level (4.95 m).
Balonne River downstream of Surat to Beardmore Dam:
Minor flooding is possible along the Balonne River downstream of Surat to Beardmore Dam.
The Balonne River at Warroo is currently at 2.37 m and steady, below the minor flood level.

Recent moderate to heavy rainfall over parts of the Belyando and Suttor catchments has caused river level rises across the upper catchments. Minor flooding is possible from around Friday along the Suttor River at St Anns as upstream flows arrive.
Elevated river levels are occurring along the lower Burdekin River downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam, however river levels are expected to remain below the minor flood level.
A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland.
Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is possible along the Suttor River.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 1.39 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
