MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT EURAMO OVERNIGHT MONDAY INTO TUESDAY
Moderate rainfall was recorded in the last 24 hours which may cause renewed river level rises. Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast over the next few days. Minor flooding is possible along the Tully River at Euramo overnight Monday into Tuesday.
This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Tully River:
Minor flooding is possible along the Tully River at Euramo.
The Tully River at Euramo is currently at 5.10 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Tully River at Euramo may reach around the minor flood level (6.00 m) overnight Monday into Tuesday.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
