MINOR FLOODING ESTIMATED TO BE OCCURRING AT GLENEAGLE
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT ABERGOWRIE BRIDGE FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON
Recent rainfall over the Herbert catchment has resulted in creek and river level rises. The river level at Gleneagle Homestead is likely to remain above the minor flood level for the remainder of Thursday and into Friday.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the next few days, which may lead to renewed river level rises and minor flooding at Abergowrie Bridge from Thursday afternoon.
Herbert River to Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Herbert River to Nash's Crossing.
No observations are currently available for the Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, it is estimated that the river level at Gleneagle Homestead is currently above the minor flood level and falling.
The Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.50 m) for the remainder of Thursday and into Friday.
Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is possible along the Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing at Abergowrie Bridge.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is currently at 5.07 m and rising, below the minor flood level (6.00 m).
With forecast rainfall, renewed river level rises and minor flooding is possible along the Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge from Thursday afternoon.
