Moderate to heavy rainfall during last few days has caused river level rises along the Cape, Belyando, Suttor and Lower Burdekin Rivers.
Minor flooding is occurring at Taemas, with major flooding possible overnight Friday into Saturday. Minor flooding is likely at St Anns from overnight Friday into Saturday. Minor flooding is possible at Clare from overnight Friday and at Burdekin Falls Dam, Dalbeg and Inkerman Bridge (Burdekin Bridge) from Saturday.
Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment over the next few days, which may cause additional river level rises across the Burdekin River catchment. The situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is likely at St Anns.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 3.62 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Suttor River at St Anns is likely to exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) overnight Friday into Saturday. Further rises are possible.

Minor flooding is continuing along the Barcoo River at Retreat following a peak early Tuesday morning. Further downstream, minor flooding is occurring along Cooper Creek at Windorah (Main Channel), with moderate flooding possible over the weekend as upstream flows arrive.
In the upper Barcoo River, minor flooding is easing following a peak at Isisford Wednesday morning.
Along the Thomson River at Camoola Park, minor flooding is occurring, with moderate flooding possible over the weekend as upstream flows arrive. Further downstream, minor flooding is possible at Longreach from Sunday and Jundah from Saturday. Further rises are likely as upstream flows from Camoola Park continue to arrive.

River level rises are occurring along the Lower Flinders River, where major flooding is possible at Walkers Bend from around Wednesday.
River level rises are occurring along the Cloncurry River following rainfall overnight Thursday into Friday. Minor flooding is possible at Cloncurry during Friday evening.

Major flooding is possible along the Flinders River to Richmond.

Moderate flooding is slowly easing along the Bulloo River at Quilpie.

Heavy rainfall has been observed across the eastern part of the Western River catchment during the weekend which has led to rapid river level rises along the upper reaches of the Western River and its tributaries. At Winton, moderate flooding is now easing slowly.
Along the Diamantina River, river levels are rising above the moderate flood level at Diamantina Lakes. A below minor flood peak is passing Birdsville. However, renewed river level rises are possible from next week as upstream flood waters arrive.
Showers and storms are possible over parts of the catchment for the next few days which may cause further river level rises in some areas. This warning will be updated as required.
Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes is currently at 4.13 m and rising, above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) and above the level of the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway (2.10 m).
Western River:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Western River at Winton.
The Western River at Winton is currently at 2.35 m and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Western River at Winton is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (2.00 m) for the remainder of Thursday and into Friday.
Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
Minor flooding is easing at Roseberth. Renewed rises are possible as the flood waters arrive from upstream.
The Diamantina River at Birdsville Police Station peaked near 3.75 m during Monday, below the minor flood level. The river is currently at 3.55 m and steady.
Renewed river level rises are possible from next week as the flood waters arrive from upstream.

MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT AUGATHELLA
Moderate to heavy rainfall observed across parts of the Warrego River catchment over the weekend resulted in river level rises along the upper Warrego River. At Augathella river levels peaked Tuesday morning with minor flooding, and fell below the minor flood level Tuesday afternoon.
At Charleville, river levels are expected to peak below the minor flood level.
Warrego River to Charleville:
Minor flooding is no longer occurring at Augathella.
The Warrego River at Augathella peaked at 4.45 m around 08:15 am Tuesday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 2.11 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Warrego River at Augathella is likely to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).
