Snowy Mountains forecast district
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rainfall and northwesterly winds are expected during Saturday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the Snowy Mountains forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

Final Minor Flood Warning For The Peel River

MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT TAMWORTH
The Peel River at Tamworth peaked above the minor flood level during Thursday morning and have fallen below the minor flood level. River levels are expected to remain below the minor flood level.
No further significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

River level at Tamworth has fallen below the minor flood level.
The Peel River at Tamworth is currently at 2.90 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Peel River at Tamworth is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m).

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
