MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BULGA FRIDAY MORNING
Moderate rainfall has been observed across the Wollombi Brook catchment during Wednesday evening and into Thursday. River level rises are occurring along the Wollombi Brook, where minor flooding is possible at Bulga Friday morning.
Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Thursday and into Friday, which may result in further river level rises.
The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required.
Wollombi Brook:
Minor flooding may occur along the Wollombi Brook at Bulga
The Wollombi Brook at Bulga is currently at 2.15 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Wollombi Brook at Bulga may reach around the minor flood level (3.00 m) Friday morning. Further rises are possible.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT GUNNEDAH DURING SATURDAY
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT TAMWORTH
Moderate rainfall has been observed across the Peel and Namoi River catchments since Wednesday morning.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Peel River at Tamworth following a minor flood peak during Thursday afternoon. A second minor flood peak is possible at Tamworth early Friday morning with the arrival of upstream flow.
In the Namoi River catchment, minor flooding is possible at Carroll Village from Friday afternoon. The combined flows from the Mooki River, the Peel River through Carroll Gap, and outflows from Keepit Dam are likely to cause flooding downstream at Gunnedah. Minor flooding is likely at Gunnedah from Friday afternoon, with major flooding possible during Saturday, depending on Keepit Dam releases.
The earlier flood peak has passed downstream of Goangra and is moving towards Walgett on the Barwon River. Minor flooding is occurring at Goangra, with river levels likely to remain above minor flood level through to the weekend.
Peel River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Peel River.
The Peel River at Tamworth peaked at 3.85 m around 05:45 pm Thursday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 3.42 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Peel River at Tamworth is likely to remain around the current level overnight Thursday into Friday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive and the river may reach around 3.80 m early Friday morning, with minor flooding. The river may remain above the minor flood level (3.00 m) until Friday afternoon.
Namoi River:
Minor to major flooding is possible along the Namoi River. Minor flooding is occurring at Goangra.
No observations are currently available for the Namoi River at Carroll Village.
The Namoi River at Carroll Village may reach around the minor flood level (8.20 m) Friday afternoon.
The Namoi River at Gunnedah is currently at 3.11 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Namoi River at Gunnedah is likely to exceed the minor flood level (7.30 m) Friday afternoon. The river may exceed the moderate flood level (7.60 m) Friday evening. The river may reach around the major flood level (7.90 m) during Saturday.
The Namoi River at Goangra is currently at 6.64 m and falling slowly, with minor flooding.
The Namoi River at Goangra is likely to remain above the minor flood level (5.50 m) through to the weekend.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT NORTH RICHMOND FROM OVERNIGHT THURSDAY
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WALLACIA WEIR AND WINDSOR FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate rainfall has been observed over the Hawkesbury and Nepean River catchments during Wednesday evening and during Thursday, resulting in river level rises along the Hawkesbury, Nepean and Colo Rivers. Minor flooding is occurring at Menangle Bridge and Putty Road. Minor flooding is possible at North Richmond from overnight Thursday and at Wallacia Weir and Windsor from Friday afternoon.
Isolated showers and storms to continue into the morning before easing on Friday.
The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for the Upper Coxs and Macdonald Rivers.
Upper Nepean River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Nepean River at Menangle Bridge and is possible at Wallacia Weir.
The Nepean River at Menangle Bridge is currently at 6.58 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Nepean River at Menangle Bridge may reach around 8.00 m overnight Thursday into Friday, with minor flooding.
The Nepean River at Wallacia Weir is currently at 2.11 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Nepean River at Wallacia Weir may reach around the minor flood level (5.00 m) Friday afternoon.
Hawkesbury and Lower Nepean River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Hawkesbury River at North Richmond and Windsor.
The Hawkesbury River at North Richmond WPS is currently at 2.76 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Hawkesbury River at North Richmond WPS may exceed the minor flood level (3.80 m) overnight Thursday into Friday. The river may reach around 5.00 m Friday afternoon, with minor flooding.
The Hawkesbury River at Windsor PWD is currently at 2.54 m AHD and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Hawkesbury River at Windsor PWD may reach around the minor flood level (5.80 m AHD) Friday afternoon.
Colo River:
Minor flooding is estimated to be occurring along the Colo River at Putty Road.
There are no current observations along the Colo River at Putty Road, however based on the nearby gauge it is estimated that the water level is above the minor flood level (2.70 m) and rising.
The Colo River at Putty Road may reach around 4.50 m Friday morning, with minor flooding.
