Minor Flood Warning For The Hunter River And Final Flood Warning For Wollombi Brook

RENEWED MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT MAITLAND FROM TUESDAY
FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT BULGA
The river level along Wollombi Brook at Bulga fell below the minor flood level early Monday morning where flooding is no longer expected.
The river level along the Hunter River at Maitland is likely to fall below minor around midday where renewed minor flooding is possible from Tuesday.
Further rainfall is forecast across the catchment from Tuesday into Wednesday, which may cause some renewed river level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Wollombi Brook:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Wollombi Brook at Bulga.
The Wollombi Brook at Bulga is currently at 2.89 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (3.00 m).
The Wollombi Brook at Bulga is expected to remain below the minor flood level.
Lower Hunter:
Renewed minor flooding is possible along the Lower Hunter River at Maitland.
The Hunter River at Maitland (Belmore Bridge) is currently at 5.96 metres and falling, above the minor flood level (5.90 m).
The Hunter River at Maitland (Belmore Bridge) is expected to fall below the minor flood level around midday. With forecast rainfall, renewed river level rises to the minor flood level are possible from Tuesday.
