Minor To Moderate Flood Warning For The Warrego River (Nsw)

MINOR FLOOD PEAK EXPECTED AT ENNGONIA TUESDAY MORNING
MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT FORDS BRIDGE BYWASH FROM LATE THURSDAY, WITH MODERATE FLOOD PEAK POSSIBLE NEXT WEEK
Floodwaters from the upper reaches of the Warrego River in Queensland have moved into New South Wales. The Queensland flood warning for the Warrego River has been finalised.
Minor flooding is expected to be occurring at Enngonia, with a minor flood peak expected Tuesday morning.
Further downstream minor flooding is rising, with moderate flooding likely at Fords Bridge Bywash from late Thursday. River levels are expected to continue to slowly rise with a moderate flood peak possible around mid next week.
Warrego River (NSW):
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Warrego River (NSW).
The Warrego River at Barringun No. 2 peaked at 4.12 metres around 11:00 pm Sunday 21 April and is currently at 3.97 metres and falling.
The Warrego River at Barringun No. 2 is likely to fall below the moderate flood level (3.80 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.
No observations are currently available for Enngonia. It is estimated that the river level is currently above the minor flood level (2.00 m) and rising.
The Warrego River at Enngonia may peak near 2.40 metres Tuesday morning, with minor flooding.
The Warrego River at Fords Bridge Bywash is currently at 2.02 metres and rising, above the minor flood level (1.70 m).
The Warrego River at Fords Bridge Bywash is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (2.30 m) from late Thursday. The river level may peak near 2.70 metres around the middle of next week commencing 29th April.

Floodwaters from the Culgoa and Balonne Rivers in Queensland are moving into New South Wales. The flood peak along the Narran River is passing Angledool during Monday, where a moderate flood peak is likely.
No significant rainfall has been observed since last Thursday and no significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Narran River:
Moderate flooding is likely along the Narran River.
The Narran River at New Angledool No 2 is currently at 3.48 metres and rising slowly, above the minor flood level (3.30 m).
The Narran River at New Angledool No 2 is likely to peak around the moderate flood level (3.50 m) Monday afternoon.

Moderate Flood Warning For The Barwon River

MODERATE FLOODING EASING AT MUNGINDI
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Barwon River at Mungindi as floodwaters which have arrived from the Weir River (QLD) and Macintyre River.
The flood peak along the Barwon River has passed Mungindi where moderate flooding is easing. This peak, combined with floodwaters from the Macintyre River, may cause prolonged elevated river levels downstream of Mungindi for the coming days.
A minor flood warning is current for the Weir River (QLD).
Barwon River Mungindi to Collarenebri:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Barwon River at Mungindi.
The Barwon River at Mungindi peaked at 6.96 metres around 03:00 am Saturday 20 April and is currently at 6.77 metres and falling, above the moderate flood level (6.70 m).
The Barwon River at Mungindi may fall below the moderate flood level (6.70 m) overnight Monday into Tuesday.
The Barwon River at Mogil Mogil is currently steady around a peak of 7.15 metres, below the minor flood level (7.50 m).

Floodwaters from the upper reaches of the Paroo River in Queensland are moving slowly into New South Wales. Minor flooding is likely along the Paroo River at Willara Crossing, from later this week.
No significant rainfall has been observed across the region since March and no significant rainfall is forecast.

Minor flooding may occur along the Paroo River (NSW).
The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently at 0.48 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (0.70 m).
