RENEWED MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT SUSSEX INLET ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON ON THE HIGH TIDE
River levels fell below the minor flood level at Sussex Inlet on Thursday night. However, renewed minor flooding is possible in the St Georges Basin at Sussex Inlet during Saturday afternoon on the high tide.
No significant rainfall totals are forecast over the next few days.
St Georges Basin:
Minor flooding is possible at Sussex Inlet on Saturday afternoon on the high tide.
The Sussex Inlet is currently at 0.53 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Sussex Inlet may reach around the minor flood level (0.90 m) Saturday afternoon on the high tide.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
