Weather Situation
Breezy winds persist in parts of the southeast and central east this evening, but the risk of damaging wind gusts has eased.
cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas:
Metropolitan, Illawarra and South Coast
This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. Please check https://www.bom.gov.au/weather-and-climate/warnings-and-alerts/.
91 km/h wind gust recorded at High Range at 3:21pm.
91 km/h wind gust recorded at Nowra at 3:10 pm.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Stay vigilant and monitor conditions. Note that the landscape may have changed following bushfires.
* For emergency help in floods and storms, ring the SES (NSW and ACT) on 132 500.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.

for Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts

Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and westerly winds are expected during Tuesday and Wednesday. Areas likely to be affected include the Southern Tablelands, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts and parts of the Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands and South West Slopes forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
