Severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall continue in western Sydney.

HEAVY RAINFALL for the following areas:
Blue Mountains/Hawkesbury, Maitland/Cessnock, Gosford/Wyong and Sydney
The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 5:15 pm, a severe thunderstorm likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding was detected near Richmond and Colo Heights. This thunderstorm is moving towards the east. It is forecast to affect Glenorie, the Yengo National Park northwest of St Albans and Dural by 5:45 pm and Hornsby, Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park by 6:15 pm.

Wollondilly/Wingecarribee

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* If you are trapped by flash flooding, seek refuge in the highest available place and ring 000 if you need rescue.
* Stay indoors away from windows, and keep children and pets indoors as well.
For emergency help in flood and storms, ring the SES on 132 500.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and southerly winds are expected during Sunday and Monday.
