Minor To Moderate Flood Warning For The Namoi River

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT BUGILBONE AND MODERATE PEAK POSSIBLE AT GOANGRA THURSDAY
The flood peak along the Namoi River, resulting from recent rainfall, has passed through Bugilbone, where minor flooding is occurring.
Further downstream, minor flooding is occurring at Goangra where river levels may peak near the moderate flood level during Thursday.

Namoi River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Namoi River at Bugilbone. Minor flooding is occurring at Goangra, with moderate flooding possible.
The Namoi River at Bugilbone peaked at 5.66 m around 07:30 am Sunday 31 August, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 5.40 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Namoi River at Bugilbone is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.90 m) until Tuesday evening.

The Namoi River at Goangra is currently at 5.73 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Namoi River at Goangra may peak near the moderate flood level (6.70 m) during Thursday 04 September.
