MODERATE FLOOD PEAK POSSIBLE AT GOANGRA OVERNIGHT FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY
The main flood peak along the Namoi River is now approaching Goangra, where river level may peak near the moderate flood level overnight Friday into Saturday.

Namoi River:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Namoi River at Goangra.
The Namoi River at Goangra is currently at 6.19 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Namoi River at Goangra may peak near the moderate flood level (6.70 m) overnight Friday into Saturday.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
