Bunyip Catchment:
Final Minor Flood Warning for the Bunyip River
MINOR FLOODING HAS RECEDED ON THE BUNYIP RIVER.
The Bunyip River catchment has recorded rainfall averaging about 0 mm since =
09:00 AM Wednesday 12 November 2025. The Western Port catchment has recorded =
rainfall averaging about 0 mm for the same period. Rainfall totals of less =
than 1 mm are forecast for the catchment Thursday 13 November 2025.
Water levels of the Bunyip River at various locations are now falling.
Tarago River:
The level of Tarago Reservoir is currently at 157.02 metres, below the =
spillway level of 157.92 metres.
Bunyip River to Iona:
The level of the Bunyip River at Iona is currently at 1.50 metres, below =
the Minor Flood Level (2.10 metres), and falling.
Bunyip River downstream of Iona:
The level of the Bunyip River at Cora Lynn is currently at 2.90 metres, =
below the Minor Flood Level (3.10 metres), and falling.
The ford at Cora Lynn is now open.

Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
North East, South West, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and northwesterly winds are expected during Thursday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the North East, South West, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
