MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT FINGAL SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate rainfall has been observed since Friday afternoon across the South Esk River catchment. This rainfall has resulted in river level rises, where minor flooding is possible at Fingal from Saturday afternoon.

South Esk River - Fingal to Llewellyn:
Minor flooding may occur along the South Esk River at Fingal.
No observations are currently available for the South Esk River at Fingal. However, it is estimated that the river level is below the minor flood level and rising.
The South Esk River at Fingal may reach around the minor flood level (4.00 m) Saturday afternoon.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Furneaux Islands, North West Coast, Central North, North East, Midlands and East Coast forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and southeasterly winds are expected during Saturday. Areas likely to be affected include the Central North and Midlands forecast districts and parts of the Furneaux Islands, North West Coast, North East and East Coast forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
